Last Friday, thanks to the fund-raising efforts of our PTO, our students were visited by a travelling STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Museum. This new assembly through Mobile Ed was supposed to come last year, but unfortuately was cancelled due to freezing weather. With flexible scheduling, all of our students were able to experience the museum for thirty-five minutes. Our students learned about 3D printing, building an arch, pulley power, structures building, newton's cradle, programmable robots, and more. Thank you to the 15 parents that donated half of their days to volunteer to help supervise the event. On behalf of Carpenter School, we would like to apologize if students came home on Friday asking you to buy them a robot. The robot they were introduced to cost $6000!
