The Carpenter Cares Committee partnered with a Chicago public school to make their holidays a little brighter. Due to the generosity of Carpenter staff members, our first grade friends received 35 boxes of markers, 35 folders, 35 glue sticks, MANY pencils, 10 rolls of tape, and some other miscellaneous types of markers. The boxes were wrapped and labelled for each first grade classroom! Our teacher connection in Chicago shared, "The kids were shocked when they opened the box! They were ecstatic!!! They are clearly ready to move into January with all the tools they need for learning!" Wrapped gifts are also being brought to the Center for Concern.
