The Carpenter Cougars donated hundreds of lunches to Uncle Pete’s Ministries this week. In total, 300 lunches were brought in and were later distributed to those in need throughout the Chicago area.
Students and families collected sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, bags of chips/pretzels, fruit, cookies, and bottled water.
The recipients of these lunches were “very grateful to be remembered in such a special way,” the organization wrote to all the Carpenter families who helped and donated food.
