Carpenter Elementary School students turned on the jets for the 2023 Track-A-Thon. Every grade got to run on the field and help raise money for the school 1/8 of a mile at a time!
Each lap, students were greeted with cheering sections who gave the runners/walkers a tally on the back of their shirts so we could keep track of their hard work. It was a terrific day spent outside raising money and promoting healthy living.
The Carpenter PTO hosts the event, and this was the 16th annual TAT. This year, the PTO set a historical goal of raising $100,000, which goes towards a new playground designed to support children of all abilities.
