District 64’s art department is partnering for a seventh year with Park Ridge’s Le Peep restaurant and Brickton Art Center to create an ongoing public exhibit of children’s artwork. District 64 will exhibit works from May through October and Brickton will exhibit from November thru April at LePeep, 100 Euclid Ave., Park Ridge.
“We are very proud of the high caliber of artwork that students create in our program as they explore their creative strengths, and are very pleased by the warm welcome the community gives to student art exhibited through our unique collaboration,” according to Superintendent Laurie Heinz.
The entertaining display offers a stimulating array of themes, techniques and media, ranging from drawings and photography to watercolors and collage.
