"Screen Free" Week caps Healthy Living Month

"Screen Free" Week caps Healthy Living Month

District 64 will celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, April 29 with a tree planting at Field School, courtesy of the City of Park Ridge.

The event will wrap up "Screen Free" Week April 25-29, which offered an abundance of alternatives for students, families and community members ready to reduce their screen time.

It also heralds the end of Healthy Living Month, which is a collaborative effort every April among District 64, the City, Park District, Library, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and many community organizations to focus on wellness in may forms.

Together We Discover, Learn, Grow & Care

At D64, our mission is to foster opportunities for discovery, engagement, and growth for all students. We accomplish this by nurturing interdependence, appreciation of differences, and care for self and others.
