University of Illinois Jr. High String Orchestra Festival November 18, 2015

On Wednesday, November 18, the Emerson Concert Orchestra 1 was once again selected to perform at the University of Illinois Jr. High String Orchestra Festival after being deemed one of the most outstanding middle school orchestras in the state last year. This year, the orchestra performed at Niles West High School on the auditorium stage. Students had the amazing opportunity to work with Dr. Louis Bergonzi from the University of Illinois School of Music and Susan Blaese from Elmhurst College. A great time was had by all. We look forward to implementing what we learned at our clinic into our next cycle of music, as we gear up for our winter performances. Congratulations to our orchestra students- we are so proud of your hard work!
