Lincoln and Emerson Symphonic Bands participated in the North Shore Concert Band Festival at Northwestern University on Saturday. Our students had the opportunity to perform in the world-class Pick-Staiger Hall. After the performance, Dr. Shawn Vondran, Associate Director of Bands for Northwestern University, conducted a 40 minute workshop to help the bands improve their performance skills. We wrapped up the event with pizza and snacks at the Norris Center overlooking Lake Michigan. We enjoyed a terrific day improving our skills on the Northwestern campus.
