D64 joins in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 voyage and moon walk of astronaut Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969, as he became the first person to step onto the moon's surface from the ladder of the Eagle landing craft, declaring: “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
To commemorate this remarkable achievement, we invite D64 students and their families to enjoy a lunar landing cut-out activity from NASA available here.
And, read more here about the exciting next giant leap NASA is planning for missions to Mars and beyond.
