Two District 64 Administrators take positions in another district

District 64’s Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning, Dr. Lori Lopez, and Director of Innovation and Technology, Ms. MJ Warden, have accepted positions for next school year in another district.

“Both of these administrators have been partnering with the rest of our tremendous staff towards student success for many years,” said District 64 Superintendent Dr. Eric Olson. “We are very appreciative of what they’ve helped us achieve together for our students and each other, and we look forward to continuing to work with them for the remainder of the year.”

Dr. Lopez has been with D64 since 2012 and, for the past 11 years, provided leadership of the District’s curriculum and instructional programs, including assessment of student achievement, implementation of intervention programs to support student learning, and professional development activities for teachers.

Joining D64 in 2014, Warden has supported students and teachers with integrating technology tools. She’s also led initiatives in developing instructional practices and building robust digital learning ecosystems, data-informed instruction, inquiry-based learning, and assistive technology. Warden has also overseen the technology deployments and network infrastructure projects in the district.

“We wish them the best in their new roles,” said Dr. Olson.

We are now looking for the next leaders to fill these roles. You can find the job postings on our website by clicking here.
