With the recent addition of Full Day Kindergarten in District 64, additions and construction projects are being done at each elementary school in order to create the necessary space.
Starting on March 21 and going through March 25 you’ll see the first steps in this process at Franklin. That week temporary fencing will be installed around much of the north and east sides of campus. This fencing will enclose the entire construction site as well as the temporary staging and roadways necessary for the contractor. The entrance for the construction site will be on Manor Lane, in the northwest corner of the Franklin campus.
If you have any questions or would like to see the site plans and renderings, a Construction Open House with District 64 Administration will be held in the gym at Franklin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. This is not an opportunity to ask questions about curriculum, the program itself, or kindergarten logistics. This meeting is to only discuss the construction.
