Lincoln educators in the national spotlight

Lincoln educators in the national spotlight

Teachers from Lincoln Middle School took the national stage among their education peers as presenters at the recent Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) conference.

Irene Kappos and Julie Jemison shared resources and strategies for co-teaching English Language Arts, while Christie Thielen and Megan Preis demonstrated how to engage students using a "flipped" classroom for math instruction.

Thielen also serves as a regional board trustee for this organization, which advocates exclusively for policies and best practices in educating young adolescents.
