Middle school musicians join Civic Orchestra for Halloween Concert

For the past several years, the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra (PRCO) has invited District 64 to nominate 3-4 string and wind players from the top bands and orchestras at both Emerson and Lincoln middle schools in a "boo-tiful" collaboration between District 64's music program and our local professional musicians.

This year, 16 students in grades 7 and 8 were nominated for their leadership and will perform during the special family-friendly PRCO Halloween concert on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pickwick Theatre, 5 S. Prospect, Park Ridge.

The 2016 student musicians include: flute - Abby Pinkerton; clarinet - Mia Pomilia; French horn - Maeve O'Hara and Cameron Maurer; trumpet - Erick Duerkop; violin 1 - Tomas Tricarico , Julia Dudlak, Vasilios Loutrianakis, and Emily Bensing; violin 2 - Isabel Kiessel, Will Heneghan, and Anthony Giustino; cello - Nathan Fernando Munoz-Lo and Zachary Hassman; and, bass - Declan McShane and Sebastian Adams.
