Officials from Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 and the City of Park Ridge are continuing to review and discuss payments owed by the City to the District under a 2003 intergovernmental agreement between the two entities regarding the Uptown TIF district.
As part of those discussions, the City recently has made “good-faith payments” of approximately $503,000 to District 64. While these payments do not represent a final agreement between the District and the City on the correct amount of payments under the agreement, they allow the parties to continue a dialogue on the TIF district.
