Camp Duncan 2016
Where has time gone this year, it is hard to swallow that we are already done with half of October. Our students were busy exploring new concepts, building relationships, strengthening our problem solving skills, and much more and Camp Duncan. Our fifth graders had a fabulous time at Camp Duncan. While we had a variety of activities that including archery, rock climbing, teams course and so much more, One of my favorite activities students were able to participate in was Mission Impossible. The activity Mission Impossible gave students the opportunity to see what it is like to work in a team, it left them with a question of what do I do when we have someone who isn’t a team player, and how do we motivate our members to all try their best. With 21st century learning and the importance of working as a team is at the forefront of what we want for our students this was a great experience for them to manage these obstacles first hand.
