District 64 will conduct registration on February 3 and 5 for the 2015-16 school year for students who will be entering kindergarten or transferring to a District 64 school.
New this year, parent/guardians are asked to begin the process by completing a short, preliminary information form online, instead of on paper. Call or email your neighborhood school to be emailed a link to the form. The form should be filled out online as soon as possible; it also reviews the required documents that must be presented in person at the time of registration.
“The shift to an online form for our new students is a logical next step for District 64,” according to Superintendent Laurie Heinz. “It builds on our transition last year to a streamlined, efficient online system all our returning families use to update their contact information and pay student fees,” she added.
Registration for grades K-5 will be conducted in person for parent/guardians from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3 (all elementary schools) and Thursday, February 5 (all schools except Carpenter).
Registration for grades 6-8 middle school transfer students is handled by calling or emailing the school office to receive the online link and schedule an appointment to provide documentation.
More information about registration is available on the registration page of the District 64 website.
