The sole topic at the meeting was the presentation and discussion of the New Superintendent Profile with consultants School Exec Connect.
The consultants shared the results of the online survey and focus groups, which captured the thoughts of almost 1,000 stakeholders. The profile may be viewed here.
At the meeting, the D64 Board of Education reached consensus to reserve five places for parents and two for community members on a 17-member Stakeholder/Confidential Interview Committee to meet with two finalists for D64 superintendent on March 11 and 12.
A lottery for the committee spots will be conducted by School Exec Connect from among all those who have submitted their names and met the Board's criteria. Read more here.
