Long Term Capital Planning 2026-2055

This page provides the long-term capital improvement replacement schedule between 2026 and 2055. The dollar amounts are estimates based on industry averages in school districts and provided by our architects, mechanical engineers, and actual quotes obtained over time. The following assumptions are important to understand how the calculations are made:

  1. School districts must pay prevailing wage.
  2. There is an annual escalation increase of 3%.
  3. Numbers do not include potential energy saving credits, grants, etc.
  4. Recommended replacement times are based on current age and the recommended life cycle per category
  5. A contingency of $150,000 is added per year.

The overall average to fund all projects would be $4,000,000 per year out of the district budget totaling $123,331,096.
