Master planning and facility forecasting, general maintenance and reports, and community facility coordination are some of the services the District 64 Facilities Management Department oversees.

Asbestos Abatement at Lincoln
February 3 to February 21
Please be advised that an asbestos abatement project at Lincoln Middle School is scheduled to be conducted from February 3, 2025 to February 21, 2025. The project will involve the removal of accessible asbestos throughout the 3 rd Floor Industrial Arts area. Illinois Department of Public Health licensed workers who are trained and accredited to perform asbestos abatement in Illinois will complete the project.
The District will receive sealed bids for 2025 additions and remodeling at Field and Washington. You can find the notice published in the Chicago Tribune here. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting for all interest bidders on Tuesday, January 21 at Washinton Elementary School from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.
The Bid Opening will be on Thursday, February 6th, 2025 @ 1PM at The District Office located at 8182 Greendale Avenue, Niles, IL 60714. At this time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via video conference. A link will be posted on the district’s website. A Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract will be required. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Mr. Adam Parisi, Park Ridge – Niles School District 64, 8182 Greendale Avenue, Niles, IL 60714.

The District will be treating the lawns this weekend on Friday, July 5th, Saturday, July 6th, and Sunday, July 7th. Login Lawn Care will be appyling Tenacity weed control along with an organic fertilizer. Here are the details of the products being used.

The lawns will be treated with Tenacity product on Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 5 PM. Logic Lawn Care, (https://www.logiclawncare.com) a member of Go Green Illinois and Go Green Park Ridge, will be treating the fronts of the schools and the areas that the Park District does not treat. Tenacity's main ingredient is derived from the bottle brush plant and essentially stops photosynthesis, making this product safe for humans and pets, and even allowing for the food-grade fertilizer to be added at the same time.
