The Jefferson Butterfly Buddies brought their amazing energy and smiles to the March Board meeting. In addition to recognizing these preschoolers, we honored District Physical Therapist Lynn Condon as a D64 Shining Star.
Condon travels to all our schools, including helping many Jefferson Early Childhood Center students. “Lynn, I would just like to thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our students,” said Jefferson Principal Michele Barkley. “Your commitment to inclusive practices and building a sense of belonging makes a difference in our community.”
With a smile, Barkley continued to shine a light on the special educator that Condon is. “You teach students the essential skills for meaningful participation in their environment and empower them to thrive. I appreciate you being a thought partner and driving innovation. You inspire all of us not only to strive for excellence but to achieve it.”
When it comes to the Jefferson students, we got to celebrate the Butterfly Buddies. Throughout the year, Barkley and the rest of the staff at Jefferson recognize students who are fabulous friends, helpful hands, and wonderful workers.
Shoutout to our District’s youngest learners for being great students and friends! View some photos from the celebration.
