Protect D64: Carpenter Elementary School
The first projects at Carpenter will be the new all-inclusive playgrounds. These will be installed during the Summer of 2025. The rest of the work will be completed in 2026, which will include the school's most critical needs:
Health, Safety, and Security
- Fire alarms
- Asbestos Abatement
- Interior doors and frames
- Exterior fencing and railings
- ADA Accessibility
Mechanical/Infrastructure
- Roofs and gutters
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Foundations/Masonry
Classroom Improvements
- General Classroom Improvements - Replace countertops, replace cubbies, replace casework/cabinets, replace display case.
- Fix foundation issues in the lower level auditorium.
- Create a Special Education Suite.
