Roosevelt students help in their community garden

Students can now see the results of their hard work in the Roosevelt Community Garden. The recent harvest was quite impressive, as the Tigers collected 6 pounds and 7.4 ounces of green beans!

A big thank you to Mrs. Malartskik, Mrs. Breen, and Mrs. Tanaka’s classes for their help and attention to detail in taking care of the Roosevelt garden.

The harvested produce will be donated to the Maine Township Food Pantry and some will also be available at the Park Ridge Farmer’s Market. Way to go!
